Thomas is an experienced arborist holding numerous qualifications in arboriculture, including accreditation from City and Guilds, the Royal Forestry Society, the Royal Horticultural Society and the University of Central Lancashire (FdSc Arb. (distinction). Thomas became involved in the tree and forestry industry in 2010 and since then he has developed his broad skill-set to become a reliable, knowledgable tree contractor who endeavours to achieve quality in his work. We remove trees in difficult locations using advanced aerial tree climbing techniques and rigging methods. Your tree will be removed in a controlled, conscientious and considerate manner.
Tree Felling
Tree felling is the process of causing a tree to fall down in a planned approach, we are qualified and experienced in this practice. Tree felling is difficult and dangerous work which is best left to professionals.
Tree Pruning
Using our honed tree climbing skills and professional equipment we can access the extremities of your trees branches. This allows us to prune trees to an excellent standard whilst adhering to industry best practice. Consideration of tree health, species type and aesthetics is also paramount. We push ourselves to achieve great results and take pride in our pruning work.
Stump Removal
We have a powerful stump grinder which will make light work of your unwanted stumps. If grinding isn't desirable we can treat stumps that would otherwise grow back with Ecoplugs - these contain measured amounts of granular Glyphosate herbicide, this kills the roots whilst greatly reducing harm to the local environment.
Crown Reductions
Crown reductions involve sympathetically pruning the whole or part of a trees leaf bearing material. This can be done to stabilise a tree with a compromised structure or purely for aesthetics.
Hedge Cutting
We strive to achieve a great finish on your hedges, whether it be a light trim or a reduction in size and height.
Compact Loader Hire
Thomas owns high-spec, compact hydraulic loaders that can be easily moved from site to site on a trailer, these machines are low-impact and extremely capable. Able to lift up to 1300kg and with a range of attachments including log grab, grapple bucket, loose material bucket, log splitter, work platform and more. Hire is with operator only.
